Services:
Accidental Damage Claims
All our reports are completed by highly skilled professional independent engineers, when it comes to collision damage reporting our engineers always provide an unbiased opinion.
Our reports are clear and concise with accurate repair methods, to do this we utilise the very latest computer software from Glass's repair estimate, our report is then completed utilising EVA reporting software www.minotaursoftware.co.uk this then provides you with all the necessary information to process a claim.
Valuation Disputes
Our engineers are professional experts in the field of valuations for all vehicle types, they also have access to various databases to include Glass's Guide, Parker's Cap and Experian.
Disputes often occur with Insurance companies and this can be a result of various factors. This is were our experts come in, our engineers will conduct a thorough inspection of your vehicle, a full vehicle assessment report will be compiled to include a detailed condition report, we will also check the correct decisions have been made and ensure the correct industry recognised valuation has been accurately applied to your vehicle. All relevant supporting documentation will be considered along with current market trends and resale values.
Salvage Value/Categorisation
Our engineers have a wealth of experience obtained working for some of the UK's leading insurance companies and hold current (AQP).
Occasionally, incorrect salvage categorisations can be applied by the insurer. If you have retained the salvage of your vehicle following a loss claim, this may effect the vehicles future resalable value and it may even be the case that the decision made by the insurer to deem the vehicle uneconomical to repair may have been avoided following an alternative method of repair.
Post Repair/Customer Complaints
Our engineers have a wealth of knowledge when it comes to dealing with unsatisfactory damage repairs, we are able to offer our clients a service that can include mediation with the insurer and vehicle repairer to ensure the vehicle has been repaired in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer guidelines and reinstating the vehicle to its pre-accident condition.
Desk Based Assessments
Our engineers can also offer a remote imaging and desk based solution, to facilitate this service we would require good quality supporting information with images from our clients.
Our aim is to provide a turnaround service of 24 hours following instructions received by us.
Total Loss Settlements
All our engineers are affiliated to I.A.E.A (Institute of Automotive Engineer Assessors) www.iaea-online.org and hold current (AQP) accreditation, this being the ABI code of practice www.abi.org.uk (Association of British Insurers) the requirements being that vehicle salvage can only be categorised by an Appropriately Qualified Person (AQP).
We can offer our clients a total loss settlement service, typically this would include an inspection/appraisal of the vehicle to include any supporting documentation, e.g: purchase invoices, service history and market research.
We can also offer a full Experian check of the vehicle, this could identify and include any damage history, finance or theft markers, followed by the added benefit of a professional courteous motor engineer to negotiate the settlement of the claim on your behalf.
